+7 747 577 3094For use in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan of measuring instruments of foreign manufacture or manufactured in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, State measuring instruments of the Republic of Kazakhstan must be entered into the register (to obtain a metrological certificate), in accordance with ST RK 2.21-2007 “Procedure for testing and type approval of measuring instruments”.
Type approval is subject to equipment (measuring instruments) imported (or manufactured) on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan more than three copies — in serial production.
To carry out the type approval procedure, it is necessary to prepare a package of the following documents:
— draft test program;
— technical specification for the development of a measuring instrument or a document replacing it containing requirements for the measuring instrument and technical specifications (if their development is provided);
— draft regulatory document on verification in the absence of a section and operational documentation regulating the means and methods of verification;
— test reports of measuring instruments;
— information on the availability of measuring instruments during their operation in the Republic of Kazakhstan by methods and means of verification, as well as information about enterprises and organizations that will carry out their maintenance and repair;
— documents confirming the validity of the recommended verification interval.
